Abstract

"The Kyoto Conference on Dioxins Problem of MSW Incineration 1991" was held in Kyoto for four days, from May 14 to 17, 1991. This report describes the background, progress and program of the conference. The conference aimed at having discussions on the issue from scientific and technical point of view to minimize the dioxin emissions from municipal solid waste incineration. More than 250 delegates including 15 foreigners participated in the conference and more than 30 papers were presented with excelent and fruitsful discussions.
