Abstract

Treatment of waste from a large scale consumption will soon meet with a self-contradiction on the limited Earth. No waste substances will freely disposable, disregarding material circulation, except some trace materials. As for a waste treatment, the era of disposal is now coming to the end, to be followed by an era of recycle. However, recycling process always consume some external energy, manpower and new resouses. Recycling cannot fundametally proceed without extensive research and developments toward energy saving. In the field of energy resources, this problem becoms very serious, especially involving the problem of CO2 which is released by use of fossil fuel. Finally, we describe one solution a new system incorporating use of the external energy source of sunshine on a global scale, and recycling CO2 as an energy carrier.

Key words: waste, recycling, energy, transportation, CO2
