Abstract

To keep sanitary disposal of waste and to protect global environment, Osaka City has started actions to reduce waste. For the waste reduction, it is most important to curb the generation of waste, and it is also required for businesses and citezens to recycle what they produce, deal with and consume. In this article, paper waste in offices and packaging waste are mentioned as main targets to be reduced.
