Position of Reduction Plan for Municipal Waste Management Plan

Abstract

A reduction plan for waste required includes not only waste disposal, but also management of production, distribution and consumption. But, for the planning of a waste management plan, there are still only few relations between consumption management sections and environmental education sections in government. For the planning of a waste reduction plan, it is necessary to build up relations among other sections within the government. The plan must also contain activities for businesses and citezens to become in volved with the reduction. In this article, we describe a position for a reduction plan in the municipal waste management plan from these points of view.
