Abstract

In a final disposal site, it is thinkable that I.R. itself can be used as a cover material instead of soil to cover landfilled solid waste. Experiments were carried out to confirm the possibilities of a new material, which is mixed with viscosity-increasing admixture and foaming admixture, and has fundamental function as cover material in a final disposal site. 5materials were made and tested for 7items. As the result of tests, it is clear that the I.R. is useful as a new cover material in landfill sites.

Key words: cover material, incineration residue, viscosity-increasing admixture, foaming admixture
