Abstract

The 4 billionth manganese and Alkali-manganese dry batteries were produced in 1993. The zinc metal is an exhaustible resource. The lifetime of zinc metal is 46 years. The energy efficiency of manganese dry batteries is 0.3% of energy used in production. There is no use doing recycling of the manganese dry battery.
