Abstract

Testing Methods and Standards for Toxic Chemicals in Waste Materials are discussed. The elution test has been used for evaluating contamination in aquatic systems, and the testing method depends on the physico-chemical nature of the contaminants. Waste management is important especially with regards to ground water preservation, and strict standards are given. Future subjects, beyond the elution testing method, are also discussed.

Key words: testing method, organic pollutants, waste standard
