Abstract
A useful process for the aftertreatment of incinerated ash is melting and solidification. Solidified material (molten material of incinerated ash) has a texture similar to natural rocks. Here we describe the processes generating of the samples from a mixture of incinerated ash and cullet, from the point of view of petrology, mineralogy, and chemistry of the sample. Based on these data, we petrologically compared the sample with natural rocks, by use of the SiO2-CaO-Al2O3 phase diagram. Furthermore, we evaluated the mixing ratio of incinerated ash and cullet, and trace element contents.
