Main activities of the Society are as follows:

1. Publication

JSMCWM publishes:

a.bimonthly JSMCWM Journal including the research paper compendium (in Japanese with English abstract),

b. bimonthly Japanese Newsletter, and

c. quarterly English Newsletter (e-publication only).

2. International Exchange

JSMCWM organizes international seminars and overseas technical visits for interchange with international organizations and societies in other countries.

3. Conference

JSMCWM holds annual conference every autumn to provide members with an opportunity to meet and to present and discuss professional papers. International sessions, which are supposed to be presented in English, are held the conference.

4. Research and Development

JSMCWM provides financial assistance and rewards to promote research activities.

5. JSMCWM occasionally organizes symposia (symposiums), fora (forums), open lectures and technical visits, in which all members are entitled to participate.
