アジア太平洋の都市の重要な問題である廃棄物管理について、社会構造や廃棄物発生の背景を俯瞰しながら、廃棄物の適正処理と3R (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycling)を推することが求められています。
来たるべき3R社会を実現するため、科学的あるいは技術的な知見から経済や法制度にわたる幅広い知見を提供することを目指しています。

OBJECTIVES：
Waste management is a great challenge worldwide, especially in the Asia-Pacific’s megacities. From the perspective of the social structure and background of waste generation, it is our mission to promote proper waste management and spread the concept of the 3R principle
(Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle) in our societies.
3RINCs aims to provide not only scientific and technical knowledge but also a wide range of academic fields including policy science, economy, and law
