趣旨と概要

Your participation and deliberations in both the Forums (EST & 3R) have immensely contributed to work programs of UNCRD. The 50th Anniversary Commemorative Symposium will not only provide you an opportunity to keep stock of various achievements made by UNCRD in areas of regional development, SDGs, environmentally sustainable transport (EST), 3R (reduce, reuse, recyle) and circular economy, disaster management, among others, but will also provide an opportunity to further strengthen our cooperation in achieving the international agendas and agreements such as the SDGs, Paris Agreement on climate change, the New Urban Agenda, and the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risks Reductions, among others.
